Team
Tyler Rinehart serves as the President of Construction at Cardiff and brings over 18 years of expertise in multi-family construction and property management to the team. Best known for his integrity, ability to lead, and dedicaFon to efficiency, Tyler has built strong relationships with his team, clients, contractors, and vendors who rely on him to deliver excepFonal value without compromising quality. Tyler has experience managing projects exceeding $50 million annually, focusing on reposiFoning class B & C assets. Tyler's extensive experience and track record of excellence highlight his adeptness in navigaFng the construcFon industry, ensuring successful outcomes for diverse projects.
Steve Patterson serves as the VP of Finance for Cardiff and is responsible for development, review, and compliance of construcFon systems. Steve ensures that project controls are designed and implemented that meet Cardiff’s goals and objecFves to maximize growth and profit of the business units. With over 45 years of experience, Steve provides execuFve leadership with strategic business and financial planning for the company with focus on risk management, cost control, forecasFng, and cash management. His broad experience in varied industries, such as commercial, industrial, retail, and mulF-family serve as a valuable knowledge base to guide our company today and into the future.
Mark Pratt serves as the Director of Construction for Cardiff where he develops capital improvement and deferred maintenance scopes and budgets for clients and lenders, manages a dedicated team, negoFates contracts, and reviews budgets and job cosFng. With over 24 years of ConstrucFon experience, and over seven years spent in MulFfamily, Mark is an integral “team builder” who recruited, hired, and trained Cardiff’s team of project managers and superintendents all focused on the pursuit of excellence. A master of many arts, Mark enjoys traveling and sustainable food sourcing in his spare Fme. Mark raises animals, grows aquaponic crops, and delights in feeding his community.

Chase Pope serves as Account Manager. A self-starter and Fearless worker, Chase has over five years of industry experience and previously owned and operated his own company, EcoPros Landscape and Design. Chase’s commitment to excellence has contributed significantly to the rehabilitaFon of the Bishop Ridge neighborhood, the crown jewel of Cardiff’s porcolio. In his spare Fme, Chase enjoys all sports and spending Fme at the park with his dog “Rug.”
Jennifer Dent serves as Cardiff’s Senior Design Manager. Jennifer is a registered interior designer with over 20 years of project and interior design experience in commercial and residential sectors. Her experience as a seasoned project and interior designer allowed her to complete groundbreaking initiatives with renowned firms including Streetlights Residential, Omni Hotels and Resorts, and Presidium Group. Jennifer’s intimate understanding of the industry has proven beneficial in managing team operations, design, and compliance standards as well as navigating financially challenged projects. A native Guatemalan, Jennifer enjoys visiting family in her spare time. You can also find her tossing the ball with her pup, “Woody.”
Steven Morris serves as the Director of Maintenance for Cardiff. Steven has worked in the commercial real estate sector for over 13 years, spending the past 8 years in property managment maintenance. Previous employers include Madera Residential, American Campus Communities, and The Scion Group. An avid traveler, Steven enjoys finding the perfect offshore fishing spots in his free time.
